1. Connect an account
The creator signs in through TikTok Login Kit and grants only the permissions used by the workflow: basic account identity and content publishing. Tokens are protected on the creator's Windows computer and are never displayed by the panel.
2. Review current creator settings
Immediately before posting, the app queries TikTok for the authorized username, available privacy levels, interaction availability and maximum permitted video duration. The panel displays the destination account and applies those current settings.
3. Choose publication settings
The creator reviews the exact video and can edit its caption. Privacy has no default selection. Comments, Duet and Stitch begin disabled and can be enabled only when TikTok reports them as available. The creator must select the appropriate commercial disclosure and can identify AI-generated content when applicable.
4. Give explicit consent
The video is not transmitted until the creator checks the consent declaration and presses “Authorize and publish to TikTok.” This consent applies to the displayed video, caption, account, privacy and disclosure settings.
5. Track the result
The application uploads the local video using TikTok's file upload flow, stores the returned publishing identifier and checks the official status endpoint. It tells the creator that processing may take several minutes and records the public post identifier only after TikTok reports completion.
